Every day, bus drivers across New Zealand transport us to where we need to be. To work. To school. To see whānau. To healthcare. To community. Rain or shine, early mornings or late nights, they’re behind the wheel – keeping our cities and towns connected.

Bus Driver Appreciation Day is a chance to pause and say what often goes unsaid: thank you.

It might seem like a small gesture. But for the driver who’s just started their shift, or the one finishing a long day, those two words can make all the difference.
